This groundbreaking legislation authorizes $30 million annually from 2019 to 2023 for programs and research related directly to childhood cancer. This is the most comprehensive childhood cancer bill ever signed into law; prioritizing childhood cancer research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and improving targeted treatments, surveillance and quality-of-life resources for survivors.
